This introductory Meet-Up provides and overview of the PHEMS project and how we plan to revolutionize cross-border sharing of pediatric health data through the use of federated networks, the applications of machine learning, and synthetic data. About the PHEMS Meet-Up series: The PHEMS Meet-Up series is designed to be an interactive space to share information about the PHEMS project, where experts in the field can ask questions and exchange information about the latest developments in sharing and working with pediatric health data. Topics are related to the PHEMS project but will be guided by participants. Through these Meet-Ups we aim to develop a global community of children’s hospitals that can work together to more efficiently and safely share data across borders to help speed research and improve the health outcomes of children and young people.
