“In this first half of the Hackathon Awards Ceremony we hear from Dani Priet-Alhabra, Head of Health Data Sciences at Botnar Research Center and a Professor at both the University of Oxford and Erasmus MC. He talks about open science and OMOP analytics, as well as a unique approach to accelerating research through “study-a-thons”.

In the second half of the Hackathon Awards Ceremony Aida Felipe, critical care specialist at Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona Children’s Hospital provides an overview of pediatric sepsis and how PHEMS and the hackathon will help address it. Following that Bruno Robalo provides and overview of the hackathon and Lydia Briggs introduces the hackathon winners. We’ll also hear from the top three finisher about their strategies to cracking this challenge and how their work will contribute to the PHEMS project.
